We have been fans of Lady Kitty Spencer ever since she first appeared on our makeup radar back in 2009 with a killer Tatler cover. Even then her makeup caught our eye!
If, like us, you have been following her on Insta, you will know she’s a big makeup and fashion lover, so it was no surprise when she stepped out at the royal wedding last weekend with absolutely absolutely flawless makeup.
Her look was created using all Charlotte Tilbury, and the CT makeup artist responsible for creating Kitty’s look was the super talented Irish lady, SJ Wai.
Here are the products that were used to create Lady Kitty’s stunning makeup for the wedding:
Base:
To moisturise and prime the skin, Charlotte’s famous Magic Cream was used followed by her Wonder Glow primer.
Next , the makeup artist applied a Hollywood Flawless Filter shade 2 which is a complexion booster that can be worn on its own or in conjunction with foundation. According to Charlotte, the Hollywood Flawless Filter is designed to recreate the effects of your favourite digital filter!
Shade 2 was specifically chosen for Kitty as its neutral peachy beige colour is ideal for her fair complexion and would work perfectly with the foundation she would be wearing i.e. Magic Foundation in shade 4. This foundation has a full coverage formula and shade 4 is suitable for light-medium skin.
Next up on the product list was The Retoucher in shade 1 (fair) & shade 2 (fair). This is essentially a strong concealer as it not only colour corrects and highlights, but also supplies additional coverage.
To set everything in place, Kitty’s makeup artist dusted on some Flawless Finish Powder in shade 1 which perfectly complimented the shades that had already been used.
To add some definition to the face, Charlotte’s Hollywood Contour Wand was used though it has not been confirmed exactly which shade was used on Kitty.
For a pop of colour on the cheeks, the makeup artist elected to use First Love blusher which has a creamy consistency.
Eyes:
On to the eye makeup. For eye colour, the super creamy Eyes To Mesmerize collection was used in the shades Jean, Star Gold and Rose Gold.
Also used was the shade Exager-Eyes from the Bigger Brighter Eyes Palette. The soft smokey effect was further achieved through the use of this brown liquid eyeliner pencil.
To finish the look, a volumising mascara was applied.
Lips:
For the lips, Kitty went for a neutral nude pink shade. Her lips with lined with the Supersize Me lip liner, and Hot Lips lipstick in the shades Super Cindy and Pillow talk,
Also used was the Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath however this is a new product and is not available as of yet.
