What I Wore: High Street Monochrome & Steve Madden Heels!

download

Hello guys from my brand new site! Do you like it? Still lots to do, few little tweaks here and there…. but hopefully you are all liking it so far? I love it…. more on this tomorrow!

Anyway…. Hope you’re all having a great weekend, I am just home from my #sosuemeworkshop in Kerry and what a fantastic day it was. I’m not long home and so I decided to blog for a little bit before taking a hot shower and opening a bottle of wine with Dylan 🙂

Last Thursday might, myself, Dylan, and a group of our friends attended the relaunch of the Siam Thai Restaurants, and for the event, I decided on a monochrome look. It’s always been a massive favourite of mine, and it’s such a classic style too, don’t you think?

As soon as I bought the blazer, I knew exactly the kind of look I wanted to create around it. I was really happy with the end result, and so too were the sosueme readers it appears! The outfit got a big thumbs up overall, and I received a ton of comments and questions about it after I posted the pictures on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!

Well you’ll be pleased to hear that this look is sooo easy to recreate, as all the items, with the exception of the heels, were sourced on the high street.

What I Wore Details:

Limited Edition River Island Monochrome blazer – €80 here.  //  Black tube pants €40 –  here  // The black top was originally bought in Penneys last year, but a similar one is available here for €25// The necklace I am wearing is from Oasis, but I was able to source a similar one in Topshop. You can check it out here

My beloved Steve Maddens heels were bought during my trip to New York Fashion Week last year. Unfortunately, they are no longer available, but I did find two very similar pairs! The pair on the bottom left are Miss KG which can be bought here and the second pair are from Topshop which you can buy here!

Lot’s of you also asked about my hair and wanted to know where I had it done. The lady responsible for my voluminious ‘do’ this time round, is Jane in Red Velvet Salon!

Happy shopping and don’t forget to tweet @SoSueMe_ie if you recreate this look, we’d love to see it!

Sue xx
