You may or may not have head that Russell Crowe was in town on Saturday, promoting his new movie Noah, which premiered at The Savoy. SoSueMe.ie were there to chat with the star about the blockbuster, and were witness to one of the most awkward, cringiest moments ever to happen on a red carpet, all caught on camera by ClickTv.
A journo from an Irish website had the above exchange with Crowe, and when he exposed her for not researching her question properly, she rather foolishly tried to have a go at Russell over his geography knowledge when he said he was touring the UK promoting the movie. Crowe, just wanting to avoid the spiralling embarrassment, walked away. You would think at this point it was lesson learned from said interviewer.
You’d be wrong. Responding to some tweets poking fun at her today, the same girl AGAIN tried to have a go at Crowe over his geography tweeting “at least I know geography. Ireland is not in the UK. #fearlessjourno“, when he aptly responded to the tweet and labelled her a plonker. :0
Yes it seems that Russ isn’t one to suffer fools lightly. We’ll have our own vid (which went a bit better!!) of the premiere up later on.
