It’s been almost five years since the passing of Brittany Murphy in 2009, an actress whose star was definitely on the rise at the time of her death.
Having appeared in the likes of Clueless, Just Married and 8 Mile, she showed she could swop between comedy, drama and romcoms with ease.
Now, as a tribute to the young actress, her final movie, Something Wicked, a psychological thriller is getting a limited release, first in Oregon where it was filmed and then across the US.
Murphy made a name for herself in quirky roles like that of Tai in the smash hit teen comedy Clueless but was equally at home with darker material and was never afraid to experiment with her roles. She passed away in December 2009 at the tender age of 32.
