Clueless fans rejoice! It’s time to totally pause and break in your purple clogs, because our favourite 90s classic is coming back!
Twenty years since the films release, director Amy Heckering has confirmed that Clueless The Musical is going to happen.
Heckering revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Kristin Hanggi, director of Broadway hit Rock of Ages will direct the new stage show, while Dodger Theatricals, responsible for Jersey Boys and Into the Woods will produce it. We hope Kids In America, Supermodel and Rollin’ With The Homies will make the soundtrack!
When asked when we can expect to see the musical, Heckering said, “it’s hard to know with Broadway when things will happen. Everything goes so slowly. I thought movies took a long time.”
We can’t wait!
