I always love to see Irish businesswomen doing well, so I was thrilled to hear about the US venture of Coca Brown creator, Marissa Carter!
At the end of this month, Marissa will be launching her bestselling fake tan in America!
The tanning entrepreneur today revealed that her Cocoa Brown range has been picked up by the ultra-edgy Ricky’s NYC store chain, which has thirty branches between New York and Miami.
Marissa has had the US market in her sights ever since her trip to Hollywood earlier this year where she tanned seven Oscar nominees at the Pre-Oscars Tanning Suite in the Beverly Hilton!
She explained,
“Since my trip to Hollywood last February, as the exclusive tanning partner for the Pre-Oscars Tanning Suite in the Beverly Hilton, tanning no less than seven Oscar nominees, it’s been a dream of mine to see Cocoa Brown sold in America.
In July, I traveled to Vegas and met with Ricky’s NYC President, Richard Parrot. When I listened to him describe how funky and on trend his stores were, I immediately became excited about our brands marrying!”
Marissa added,
“They’re completely on the ball when it comes to customer service and pride themselves on offering the best beauty brands and getting there first! I’m thrilled with how fast they made the decision to put Cocoa Brown in their stores.”
I’m extremely hopeful that Cocoa Brown will win the hearts of beauty lovers, editors, bloggers and celebrities in the US, the way it has here in Ireland and the UK.”
