Save the date celeb fans; the wedding of the year is happening this day week, May 24th. It’s been confirmed that Kim and Kanye will wed in Florence next Saturday.
The two are likely getting married at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, a 16th century picturesque fort. The villa inside the walls is filled with art, contemporary sculptures and the property has gorgeous views of the city.
The reason the couple chose Florence to exchange vows is because they believe it is where baby North was conceived so it has a special place in their hearts!!
Expect a lavish party, despite what the couple have been saying, with the budget set to be through the roof. The venue alone has set the couple back $400,000, which is kinda pocket change when you think of how much money they’ll receive for photos and a TV deal from the wedding (if Kanye allows it!!)
Still no word as to who might be on the guest list, but anyone who’s anyone in the entertainment industry will be vying for a spot at the table.
This is the first marriage for West, who was previously engaged to designer Alexis Phifer. It’s the third trip down the aisle for Kim though. She was wed to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2003, and spent 72 days married to professional basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011 after tying the knot in in a lavish OTT ceremony.
