It may be the better part of 5 months away, but already the buzz is starting to build around the most watched annual tv event; The Super Bowl. Because football season is well underway in the the US, talk has already started about which act could play the half-time show at the huge extravaganza.
Well, wonder no more, because it’s been reported that the lucky act who gets to perform to a global audience of up to half a BILLION people is none other than Katy Perry! The pop star will perform in Arizona on February 1st next year, if rumours in the US today are to be believed.
The most recent half time acts were Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Beyonce, Destiny’s Child, and Madonna. According to some sources, the organisers wanted Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Coldplay to perform for the 2015 show, but wanted them to pay to have the privilege, something Katy Perry was not happy with, and it seems like she got her way in the end.
