George, who helped design the ring, selected an ethically mined emerald cut diamond, estimated to be 7-plus carats, flanked by two tapered baguettes. The classic cut is set in a platinum band that only adds to its beauty.
Hollywood’s most famous bachelor has finally agreed to settle down, after popping the question to girlfriend Amal Alamuddin.
George and Amal, who have been seeing each other for only 7 months, we’re spotted out for dinner with Cindy Crawford and her husband the other day, and reportedly Amal was sporting a MASSIVE sparkler!
Also out for the evening was Edward Norton who went over to their table to say hello, and E! News have said that the couple told Norton that they were engaged, which earned them congratulatory kisses!
Clooney famously told Barbara Walters in 1995 “I won’t get married again because I wasn’t very good at it.”
George, 52, has constantly topped “sexiest man” polls since his early days on tv’s ER and has gone on to become one of Hollywood’s most influential actors and directors. Amal is a Beiruit-born lawyer who speaks three languages and specialises in International and Human Rights Law.
