Hey guys! Happy Thursday!
So I am BACK!!!
I am currently getting ready to go to the big launch of my SOSU By Suzanne Jackson gel polish collection, and it’s literally the first time in two crazy weeks that I have been able to just sit and let everything sink in!
As some of you will know from my social media, Dylan and I were in Dallas for the last week attending a fashion conference and oh my God, did we have the time of our lives! We went to the most amazing parties, met some of the biggest international bloggers who I have followed for years, and packed as much fun as we could into the few days we were there.
The view from our hotel suite alone was like something an artist would dream up and paint. I fell head over heels in love with Dallas so much, that I would actually considering moving there before NYC.
Like don’t get me wrong, NYC is amazing, but Dallas, in my opinion, is much better and less busy too! Everyone associates New York with fashion, but trust me, Dallas is equally as stylish! It’s such a great city, and they love to super size everything there. Whether it’s their hair, their sculptures, or their food portions, their attitude is bigger is always better! You know me and big hair, I absolutely love volume, so I fit right in there!
On the first night of the conference, we attended a rooftop pool party with Stuart Weitzman and it was so glam, like something you would see in the movies.
The conference itself was so interesting. It was all about the business of blogging and we got to hear from some hugely inspirational people within the industry. I actually made x4 great friends from Chicago on the first night and I can’t wait to hook up with them again soon. We are already planning a trip over to see them!
On our last night, we also got to enjoy the most incredible fireworks display over the Continental Avenue Bridge, which they closed down especially for the bloggers in attendance at the conference! I was thrilled I got to meet the blogger Jade Scott whom I have been following for two years now. She was absolutely lovely in person!
Being invited to this conference was such an honour for me as a blogger.
All the top bloggers from around the world were there, and by the end of it, I left feeling massively inspired. I have been buzzing with lots of new ideas for SoSueMe ever since we arrived home!
Dylan and I arrived home on Tuesday, and from the moment we touched down in Dublin Airport, all I wanted to do was cuddle my two doggies, Coco and Harper. I always miss them like crazy when I’m away.
Right, I have to leave for 10 Ormond Street soon. I’m such a mixture of excitement and nerves right now! I still can’t believe the big launch is tonight! I spent so long working on this product and from tonight it’s going to be officially out there for everyone to enjoy!
Outfit 1
On the first night, I wore this casual yet comfy outfit. This crop top is co cosy on and it would be fab teamed with a little pair of shorts in the summer. I love a bardot neck line. I think it’s very glam and instantly gives you a dressy vibe.
These jeans have such an amazing fit and they never loose their shape which is why I adore them! I actually wore these over on the plane for 12 hours, and still they had a lovely feel to them. They didn’t go all loose around the bum and they stayed looking white too 🙂

On the very first night, we attended the Stuart Weiztman party, and of course with it being the very first night, I was going to be meeting everyone, so I wanted to look stylish, classy as well as feel comfortable in myself. Thankfully, this outfit did exactly that. Crochet is going to be another huge trend for summer, and this top is the perfect summer buy because it will look amazing when teamed with anything, be it jeans, shorts or a skirt!

I actually wore this outfit on my very first day for registration. I also had a business meeting with a brand out there after the registration, so I wanted to look classy and fashionable. These culottes are SO fab on! They are really comfy and they hide a multitude! If you are a bit conscious of your tummy area, these will hide it.
I teamed the culottes with a cute lace bralet, and then finished off the look with a white mac jacket. I am going to LIVE in that mac this summer! It goes with everything! It’s also light, classy and white – the perfect summer coat.

On the second night we attended the River Island party, so I decided to wear this outfit for the occasion. This is actually a top and a skirt and I have to say I loved it on. I felt great in it and it’s not too fitted, so again you have that bit of room to breathe. Of course I teamed it with this coat again – hello new wardrobe fave!
These shoes are so comfortable. I know, I couldn’t believe it either, but they really area! A lot of people admired them over in Dallas and I’m sure judging by their elegance, they will be a great seller this summer.

For the last day at the conference, I went for this casual look. There is something so classy about a simple shirt and a pair of jeans, isn’t there? Of course I had my flip flops in my bag. There was absolutely no way I was traipsing around in those Loubs for the day! Haha 🙂 The eye behind me was actually so cool to see in person. I think every blogger there that weekend got a picture by it.

A trouser suit….need I say any more? They are glam, classy and they never date!
I actually fell head over heels in love with the beaded top. It’s quite loose fitting around the tummy area, so it’s very forgiving if you are tummy conscious. I was extremely bloated from all the travelling, so it was a God send, let me tell you!
I wore it with my suit to give me that extra confidence in such a fitted number. The back detail of the top is FAB and my mum even bought one today! I also spotted a very similar one in khaki green today and I think I will be buying that one next to go with a cream leather skirt I have!

On the last day, I wanted to be comfy and casual. We were flying home that evening, so I decided on this outfit. These are actually my new Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals and they are so comfy on. I think comfort is a HUGE factor when wearing an outfit, and as you can see from this post, every singe time I chose an outfit, I went with comfort first and foremost.
If you don’t feel comfortable in something, then forget about it! Your night will be ruined (well until you’ve had a few drinks that is!) but no seriously, always dress for YOU, dress for comfort, and you have the confidence to rock anything you wear.
