Good morning from the Caribbean once again, it is 8am here and while Dylan is still sleeping off last nights cocktails haha, I thought I would do a quick outfit post.
You can read all about day 2 here
Last night we headed to the outdoor beach restaurant for dinner and it was a Caribbean Theme and menu – so cool. They had a local DJ in to play some music and the whole place was lit up with lanterns – very rose-mantic 🙂
The food was to DIE for! They had like a buffet style restaurant all set up and we were spoilt for choice. I’m raging I didn’t get any pictures but Dylan asked me if we could leave the camera at home last night and have some quality time, and so that was fair enough…
I didn’t think shepards pie was a caribbean food, maybe they have their own version? But my god it was delicious. I also had some crab cakes – YUM. I am not a big fish eater but the fish menu here comes highly recommended, after all we are in the Caribbean, and so I tasted the fish cakes and WOW… amazing. They had a gorgeous lime taste to them and I love limes!
I also had some of their vegetable/ fruit cous cous and that was tasty too. I’m not really one for buffets, either is Dylan but this food was tops! To add a bit of something sweet at the end… hello Irish (we all love a biscuit after dinner, don’t we 😉 I opted for their home made brownie and by jesus…. I nearly ate the whole lot! 🙂
The resort here isn’t very dressy, in fact – no one really wears heels, so last night I opted for a very relaxed outfit that I could wear my flats with. I decided to embrace my oriental chic and opted for this look. Some of you might not like it, but I love it. The colours really popped and the outfit was very Caribbean looking.. I was really embracing the culture here last night 🙂
