When Kim posted her latest nude selfie, little did she know that fans would go crazy looking for black bandeau bikinis in a bid to try and recreate the black modesty bars she had placed on her now-infamous picture!
If ever proof was needed that the ‘Kardashian effect’ is stronger than ever, then this is certain it!
While Kim is believed to have initially kick-started the trend, a selfie posted by Kylie shortly afterwards in which she replicated Kim’s shot but while wearing an actual black bikini, certainly helped spur on the surge of people looking for the black bandeau pieces.
According to fashion website Matches Fashion, their most-viewed style was this Natalie Bandeau Bikini (below) by Lisa Marie Fernandez, which enjoyed upwards of 80,000 views after Kim and Kylie posted their respective selfies.
