Black bralets – particularly those that are lace and strappy in style – are a HUGE trend this year! It’s easy to see why.
Not only are they ridiculously stylish and pretty inexpensive, they also make for an amazing addition to an outfit. As you can see from the picture below, Sue is wearing hers under a low cut top and it looks fab!
Bralettes are such a great staple item to have in the wardrobe so we decided to pick a few of our favourites!
Before we go any further however, there’s a couple of tips that you should keep in mind.
It doesn’t matter how expensive or inexpensive a piece of lingerie might be. If you don’t care for it, it won’t last long! Simple as!
So if you buy, here are 2 top tips that will help you to keep your pieces in the best possible condition so that their longevity is guaranteed.
- When washing lingerie, use ONLY cool or luke warm water as high heat will only break down the elastic causing them to lose their shape. This is why you should never place lingerie in a tumble dryer. Instead allow them to air dry. This is especially relevant advice for shape wear, which relies on its elasticity to pull you in.
- In an ideal world we would all wash our bralets and briefs by hand, but lets be honest, few people have the time or the patience for that! You can put them into the washing machine as long as they are in a washing bag to keep them separate from your other clothes. If you don’t have a washing bag, improvise by using a light pillowcase or a light cloth bag. Just make sure you secure it with a rubber band before placing it in the washing machine.
