Believe it or not, Victoria Beckham turned 40 this week! In honour of the fashionistas birthday we’re taking a look at 5 of Victoria’s most iconic fashion moments, from her earlier less established fashion days to her arrival to full blown style icon! 🙂
Back in 2005, Victoria donned a pastel blue and green cut out Roberto Cavalli gown complete with a train on the red carpet at a fashion event in Monaco. It definitely turned heads and the daring look still has people talking!
At the Glamour Women of the Year awards in 2007, Victoria again went for a daring look on the red carpet in a monochrome hot pants and corset ensemble that left little to the imagination!
Come 2008, there was a definite evolution in style and the chic and elegant Victoria we know and love emerged, creating style statement after style statement. There’s a ton of gorgeous looks to choose from but we’re sticking to iconic, so we are loving this 2008 look where Victoria channeled Audrey Hepburn in a lady like fitted peplum dress complete with a chic cape draped over her shoulders!
And the hits just keep coming! In 2009, Victoria wore a beautiful black jersey full length dress, with embellished shoulder detail, of her own design to Elton John’s Aids Foundation ball. It was the year her design career started to blossom, having launched her first collection the previous year.
What’s more iconic than the royal wedding?! Victoria dressed her pre Harper bump in a flowing full skirted navy dress, complete with fascinator and towering Louboutin heels. Maternity fashion at its best!
