I have to say I had such an enjoyable weekend. It felt so good to let the hair down.
On Saturday night the whole gang got together at our house for a few drinks before heading out to celebrate a friend’s birthday.
Because it was a Saturday night and because we were celebrating, I decided to go for a dressy look so I chose a white blazer dress and high heels. I had been dying to wear the dress since I bought it on Missguided 3 weeks ago and this was the perfect occasion for it.
After I posted a picture of my outfit to Facebook and Instagram, lots of you asked for the details so I thought I would kick the week off with a What I Wore blog post!

As you can see, I paired the dress with my black Louboutins, and I know that a few of you were saying you weren’t mad about the black shoe with the white dress, but trust me, I tried on pretty much every single colour of shoe with that dress and the Louboutins were by far the nicest.
A nude shoe looked a bit too summery when paired with the white dress, and my black ankle sandals cut off my legs and didn’t make them look as long.
The Louboutins though were so comfortable and elegant-looking so they were the outright winners in the end!
A lot of you also admired my makeup on the night. As you can see, I went for a smokier eye than usual, and I will be posting the full makeup list over the coming days.
As part of my routine, I used my new SOSU Contour Palette and I want to say a big thanks to makeup artist Chloe Boucher for her tip on Snapchat.
Chloe used ‘Shade 4’ from the SOSU palette as her foundation and I ended up doing the same myself on Saturday night!
I loved the end result and I’m so pleased to say that my makeup didn’t budge for the night. Shade 4 gave me really great coverage as well as a lovely dewy finish too. Thanks Chloe!
For those of you who were asking about the contour video, I will be uploading it this week. I’ve already filmed it, I just need to find the time to edit it now! As soon as it’s ready though, I’ll be letting you guys know right away!
