What I Wore…. & Details on Winning Our First Award Ever! :)

Hey girls… happy Friday! I can’t quite believe it is Friday already – where has the week gone.. I genuinely didn’t know what day of the week it was when I work up this morning, the days seem to be rolling into one lately. Busy busy, but cant complain. 🙂

So today I am here to update you all on last night. 🙂 For those of you who dont know, last night I won my first ever award for blogging thanks to the Stellar Magazine Shine Awards 2014.

In the whole x4 years that I have been doing this, with some added team members along the way of course (Dave Sam & Michelle) –  we have never won anything, so it’s a really nice feeling to know that all the hard work and long hours has been recognised. The really cool thing about the Stellar Shine Awards is that the voting was all down to you…. the fans, which I think is the most fair. Of course having judges is great… but sometimes I think with these sort of things, it makes more sense to let the public vote and that way determine a winner 🙂

So to you, the readers – thank you so much for voting for SoSueMe.ie. Sitting here looking at the award on my desk is really heart warming and it feels like a great achievement for me and the team. Big thanks to Stellar magazine, they are hands DOWN my favourite magazine and their love and recognition for bloggers is to be credited! Brilliant bunch of people. Here is a snap of myself and the very talented Dillion St Paul from Stellar Mag (he is such a good illustrator by the way)!

Also big thanks to John Frieda who got behind the event, big John Frieda fan and the goodie bags were AMAZING 🙂

Well done to everyone else who picked up some awards and also well done to everyone in my category – there was some GREAT bloggers/vlogers nominated and I admire every one of you – coz god knows… this job aint easy and it is a 24/7 lifestyle.. but we love it and that’s why we do it 🙂

Also – a few people have been emailing about my SoSueMe Workshop  – it is going to be happening in Dublin towards the end of January….. so as soon as we pin down the venue, I will be back with the details! 🙂 I have just been swamped with book stuff that I didn’t have time to oragnise. I think sometimes I should split myself in two haha. Then again, Dylan would probably shudder at the thought of two of me hahaha.
