Hello from fashion week!
I had a spare half hour so I thought I would write a blog post on one of my outfits because it went down well on my Instagram and Facebook.
As you guys know, I’m a huge lover of high street style and one of my favourite sites to shop on for both everyday style and dressy pieces is Missguided. My long term followers can definitely vouch for that!
I particularly love their ‘new-in’ section because they’re always adding new pieces that are very trend-driven and catwalk inspired. That’s the thing about Missguided, they take inspiration from the designer trends but make it very wearable and super affordable.
This is why, when I was planning my outfits for London Fashion Week, Missguided was one of the first places I visited for style. You have to really plan your outfits for fashion week, everyone is so fashionable and it’s fun to dress up and change as much as you want to 🙂
In terms of style, you can either go really ‘out there’ or you can go ‘on-trend’ but not OTT. As I was opting for the latter, I knew Missguided would be the perfect place for some of the pieces I needed for day 2.
I wanted a look that was very rock chick, very easy to wear, and preferably warm because let’s face it, London in February is freezing!
I dressed the look around a pair of really cool fitted black flared denim jeans that straight away caught my eye. The flare detail is a big high street trend at the moment and one that I personally love.
These jeans were so lovely to wear; the fit was so nice and really stretchy so comfort was a given!
Because of the over-exaggerated flare, the perfect shoe would be a boot so I went with these patent leather ankle boots which were super comfortable by the way!! I also wore them to the Mary Katrantzou show last night and lots of people admired them.

I also chose this cool lace rock t-shirt that had lace detail on the front and then paired it with the most amazing studded faux-leather jacket. You guys all went mad for this yesterday!
It looks and feels like it cost around €500 but it was actually a bargain at €88.
To accessorise the look, I sported a backpack and a cool pair of sunnies.
For my makeup, I went with a very natural look with a pop of red on the lips.
My favourite part of the look definitely has to be the jeans!
I think I must have been stopped about twenty times on the street today so far with fashion week goers wanting to know where they’re from!
Right, I gotta dash! I have a few more shows to head to.
Catch up with you guys later, (and don’t forget to keep an eye on my Snpachat (sosueme_ie) for a backstage peek at LFW!)
