So last Sunday, myself and few friends headed out to the fab Baroque Club in Swords for a fun filled bank holiday night out.
For the night in question, I decided to go for a classic feminine look, so I paired a fitted black top with a pretty subtle-pleated skirt before accessorizing it with a simple brooch.
Lots of you seemed to really love this look, so I thought you might like a ‘What I Wore’ feature on this particular outfit.
Outfit details: Top: H&M (From A/W collection) // Skirt: Zara (from last year)//Brooch: Chanel // Shoes: River Island
Lots of you also loved my makeup look too and wanted to know what foundation I used to create it.
Well, I actually used a combination of two foundations! Glo Minerals Luxe foundation (Burlee tone) read my review here, and Crown Brush Illuminating Liquid foundation (FK115).
The Crown Brush Illuminating foundation is new to the market and part of the brand’s exciting new range. I will be doing a full review of this foundation very soon so keep an eye out for it, but I can confirm that it has a lovely creamy texture, offers light to medium coverage which you can really build on, and, best of all, it blends so well and lasts for ages!
The brush I used to apply the foundation was also from Crown Brush and you can pick it up here .
I absolutely LOVE this particular brush because of the flawless application it gives. The dome shaped tip means it’s also great for applying foundation near the eye area. It helps give amazing coverage, because it packs on the foundation but nicely blends it too. It’s actually quite similar to my kabuki brush.
So there you have it guys! My look in full!
