What I Wore: Racing Style!

There’s nothing like a day at the races!

I know it’s meant to be all about the horse racing, but personally, I prefer checking out the style!

That’s why I was so thrilled to be asked to judge the best dressed competition at the annual Dundalk race day last Saturday alongside my good friend, designer and stylist Eamonn McGill, and the fabulous Caroline McElroy, personal stylist at Marshes Shopping Centre. (Pictured below)

When pictures from the event went up on Facebook and Instagram, lot’s of you wanted to know where I got my outfit.

Well here are all the details!

What I Wore: Dress – Zara // Hat – Suzanne Ryan Millinery //

Shoes – Christian Louboutin

The buzz around Dundalk Stadium on the day of the event was unreal!

Even if you’re not a big follower of racing, you couldn’t but have loved it there.

It was just so enjoyable! Myself and Dylan had a great time!

The prize for the most stylish lady of the Matthews.ie Dual Race Day was a whopping €5,000 Marshes shopping spree.

The winner, without question, was the insanely stylish, Karen Toner.

Fashion designer Karen, who hails from Bellurgan, Dundalk, was chosen from ten beautifully dressed finalists.

There were some very impressive looks on the day, so selecting the overall favourite was far from easy, but I did love Karen’s dusky pink outfit from the moment I laid eyes on it, and my two fellow judges, Eamonn and Caroline, were equally as impressed by her look.

Well done to Karen and all the finalists involved!

Suzanne do you mind me asking what lipstick you are wearing in the pics above and how is it’s staying power?
