Hey ladies,

We’re nearly there, I can almost smell the weekend! 🙂

This weekend is going to particularly exciting in the Jackson household because my brother Robert is coming home tonight after living away for four years.

We’re all really looking forward to seeing him! He’s been abroad for a while now but he’s coming home for good this time so we’ll be having a big celebration to mark the occasion!

Anyway, back to the task in hand – today’s blog post!

As promised yesterday, here are all the details about my outfit and my makeup from Saturday night.

On Saturday I was heading out for a dinner with some friends to a lovely restaurant. I had my heart set on a nude dress I bought recently, but after trying it on I just felt blah, so in the end I remembered this top I had in my wardrobe.

I tried it on and loved it instantly. On top of feeling good in it, I really loved the peplum shape, which is GREAT when eating out. It hides a multitude 🙂

So for me this was the winner.

I recently treated myself to some new Rock Studs. I bought my very first pair of Valentino’s last year and having worn them a lot and realised how comfortable they were, I decided recently to buy the nude too.

Nude is great colour in a shoe and it goes with almost anything, So – I decided to wear them on the night to break the black up and I loved them.

Shoes: Valentino Rockstuds – here (Get a similar heels here)

Tan: Bellamianta

I got lots of questions about my makeup, especially after I revealed that I had used my SOSU contour palette to create the look.

You guys wanted to know where I used the different shades I used and what brushes I applied them with, so here’s a run down of the lot!

I started off by using my ProBlender to apply shade 4 as my foundation.

I then applied Shade 2 for my contour shade using the C473 and applied shade 1 for my highlight using the C456. (use the ProBlender to blend)

Using shade 3 & 6 with  C405 Contour Brush , I set the contour and highlight after blending.

Following on from this, I applied shade 5 which is my shimmer highlighter so I applied this to the cheekbones, centre of nose and cupids bow.

Lots of you had asked me about my lipstick. It was given to me by the Bobbi Brown team when I was in London. The shade in question is called ‘Flame’ and as you can see, it’s a really fab, vibrant colour. You can pick it up here

As some of you guessed, I’m also wearing my new SOSU silk lashes! They will be launching in July – Yay!

So there you have it guys, the full run down of my look from Saturday night!
