With all the Ice Bucket Nominations doing the rounds at the minute, it seems a good time to jump on board the charitable spirit that’s rapidly spreading on social media and launch one of our own. First off, I must confess this isn’t an original idea, it’s something I saw on Facebook some time ago. It is however a really really nice thing to do, and if we can get the reach out to most of our followers (you guys!!!) then it may just brighten up the day for someone who really needs some kindness and happiness in their life.
That’s why we’re launching our own SoSueMe Pay It Forward challenge. How it works is simple. We’ll choose 5 people who comment below here (on the blog, not the facebook page) will each receive a present from Sue, as well as some kind words. It could be anything like a token piece of make-up, a book, a bag, or even something with a more personal touch. The present will be sent to you sometime before the end of the year so that some day you’ll just get something nice in the post to spread a little happiness. The only condition is that you post a status of your own on Facebook and do the same thing for 5 of your own friends. Before the year is out you must send out 5 little presents and help put a smile on someone’s face.
For those of you looking to be our lucky recipients, please put your name, county and an email address or twitter name or something so that we can contact you and get your home address. Remember peeps, the only way this works is with a little kindness and trust so please do the same for your own friends, it could really make someone’s day and you never know what a little love and happiness can do for a person.
Let the challenge commence!
