I just love a fresh smelling house. It’s addictive!
When I lived at home, my mum was a fanatic about keeping the house smelling fresh and clean, and so, when I moved out into my own place, I quickly realised that a beautifully fragrant room doesn’t just happen, you have to ensure it does! It’s almost a skill in itself…. 🙂
I have fragrance plug-in’s in every single room of my house, but, being a candle junkie and Yankee Candle obsessed – I also have them lit day and night in my hall, sitting room and office, whenever I’m there.
There are SO many scents to choose from, but here are my favourite 5….
1. Clean Cotton
Yankee Candle’s ‘Clean Cotton’ is just heavenly! Any time I burn this scent, it filters right throughout the house, creating a lovely spring/summer feeling. It really does smell like crisp cotton fresh out of the dryer, I also have the yankee air-freshner in this scent hanging on my rear mirror in my car- I just love it!
It has a strong enough scent to kill any kind of odor, but it’s not overpowering either.
2. Fluffy Towels
This is such a clean fragrance, but with an edge of warmth in it too.
Sometimes, a fragrance of this sort can be a bit overpowering, but Yankee’s Fluffy Towels isn’t like that. In fact, it remains beautifully subtle for the entire time it’s burning. Very accurate name too, as it really does smell exactly like fluffy towels!
3. Black Coconut
I love perfumes that are quite musky, and I’m the same when it comes to candles too.
This would probably explain why I’m a huge fan of Black Coconut. It’s tropical, sweet, and coconutty, but its hint of musk makes it a firm favourite of mine! If you love that beautiful beachy scent, then you will adore this candle!
4. Baby Powder 
HEAVEN IN A GLASS!!! I think this one is on everyone’s list of Top 5 Yankee Candles! After all, who doesn’t like the smell of Baby Powder! It’s gorgeous!
I love this scent for its calm and relaxing kind of vibe! I love to have this one lit in my bathroom when I’m having a bath! 🙂
5. Beach Wood
The Beach Wood candle is beautifully spicy, earthy, and, well … sea shore-y! When you smell it, you can immediately get scent of driftwood, sea, and sand.
For me, the fragrance brings back many good memories of amazing holidays!

Sandalwood Vanilla is amazing! Doesnt smell like classic vanilla at all!
Clean cotton, fresh cut roses and beach wood are my fave, but you can’t beat one with cinnamon for Xmas time!!

Midnight Oasis. It also has a lovely masculine scent to it. I must try black coconut. I was reluctant at first to spend the money but once you buy a Yankee candle it becomes an addiction!
Pink sand is one of my favourites along with berrylicious <3
