Wexford Workshop Round Up!

sosueme workshop

Hi guys!

I have held workshops in some amazing hotels but the Talbot Hotel in Wexford just blew me away last Sunday!

First of all, they had the most unreal ice sculpture of my SOSU logo placed beside the entrance to the workshop room.

It was made by David Walsh of Diamond Ice Sculpture and honest to God guys I was absolutely shocked when I first saw it! it looked incredible!

There was also a beautiful cake waiting for me and you wouldn’t BELIEVE the sugar craft detail that was on it.

As you can see from the photos, Jenny from Jenny’s Cupcakes, had actually sculpted from sugar these miniature versions of my my engagement ring, my SOSU polishes, Coco and Harper, and my contour palette.

I couldn’t stop looking at it! Every little detail was so accurate, even on Coco and Harper!

A HUGE thanks to Jenny for the cake and to David for the ice sculpture. I was completely bowled over by both gestures and can’t imagine the time and effort that must have gone into both!

The workshop itself went so well and I really hope everyone who attended enjoyed it as much as I did.

The staff of the Talbot Hotel were so good to us on the day and couldn’t do enough to ensure that everything ran as smoothly as possible, so a big big thanks to them also.

As you can see, they even named each table after my SOSU polishes, which was such a lovely personal touch!

They also made a SoSueMe mojito especially for the occasion!

Pretty sure everyone will agree that the afternoon tea was absolutely divine! SO yum!

I really hope you guys all loved the new S/S shades you tried out. The technicians at the SOSU nail bar were certainly kept very busy.

Lots of you were asking about some of the looks that we featured in the fashion show.

They were all from shops such as Warehouse, River Island and Coast. We posted all the pictures and details of the looks in this blog post so you can get any details you might have missed.

I think it’s safe to say the goodie bags went down an absolute treat!

You guys loved the Declare Cleanser, Ziaja Goats Milk products, Vaseline Spray Moisturiser, the Primark nude lipstick, matching lip liner and compact mirror, Cocoa Brown’s Chocolate Whip, the new green tea from Barry’s, and your SoSueMe pen.

The Penney’s lip liner was absolutely brilliant, so much so that I included it in my on-stage makeup chat. I was so delighted with our skincare product samples – Declare, Ziaja, Vaseline, and Cocoa Brown – they all smelled SO fresh and beautiful and I know you guys will love using them.

How yummy were the Muller yoghurts? I had one the night before and it tasted gorgeous, like a dessert!

Looking forward to trying out Barry’s new green tea too. I’m on their decaf brand at the moment but I want to start drinking some green tea as well because I have heard so many amazing things about it.

There were a number of prizes on the day but I want to say a big thank you to the The Beauty Bank, which is based in the Talbot Hotel, for their lovely prize of a facial and a massage. The day before the workshop, I myself nipped into The Beauty Bank and had my nails done. It’s such a lovely place.
