What a weekend!
So busy, but that’s exactly the way I like it! 🙂
On Friday night, I hosted the Backstreet Dance Swords fashion show, and afterwards, lot’s of you were asking where I got my outfit.
Well earlier that week, I had popped into Caris Closet in the hope of finding something a little different to wear to the event. As soon as I spotted this cape two-piece, I knew straight away I was on to a winner!
The great thing about this outfit is that you can wear the cape blazer on it’s own or pair it with a top like I did. Cari’s Closet have some seriously fab two piece sets in right now, including a white trouser version of the one I’m wearing, so if you don’t want to wear shorts, you always have another option!
When I posted pictures of my outfit on social media, it got a massive response! You guys absolutely loved it!

The following day, there was no Saturday lie in for this blogger as Dylan and I were Cork bound!
First on my schedule was a meet-&-greet visit in Hennessy Hair & Beauty Ltd on Pembroke Street, where I gave a talk all about my fave Crownbrush goodies, including a detailed chat about my SoSueMe brush set.
It’s was lovely to be able to chat to you guys about my favourite products while at the same time showing you how I use them. I also loved meeting so many SoSueMe readers at the event! Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did! 😉
What I Wore: Camel Waterfall Coat: Caris again //
White Shirt: Cari’s Closet

Navy Suede Heels: Louboutins
Afterwards, it was on to Jessie’s Hair & Beauty Salon, on Marino Street in Bantry, where a party was being held to celebrate an amazing twenty years in business!
Twenty years and still going strong too, I might add!
Salon owner, Jessie Hurley, had invited me down to the party to give guests a beauty talk, and to demonstrate some makeup techniques such as contouring.
There was a great crowd in the salon for the celebrations, and I think it goes without saying that everyone seriously enjoyed the evening!
Here are some pics from the night! I’m loving Aoife Ní Cheallachain’s black strappy heels in the far right pic! Very Valentino!
Following the party, Dylan and I headed back to the Maritime Hotel in Bantry. Have you guys ever been there? It’s such a beautiful place, and when we got to our room, the staff had generously left some beautiful treats for Coco and Harper, which I thought was so sweet!
Our room had the most amazing views, and all in all, it was just the perfect place to relax after what was a hectic day.
I can’t wait to get back to west Cork for a proper visit! It’s such a stunning place.
