Defined brow’s have become a beauty craze amongst Irish women in the last two years and it’s really great to see. Gone are the days were over plucked, half drawn on brows were in fashion…. and now hello full, defined and natural looking brows.
Nearly everyday on my Instagram I am asked about my brows, how do I do them, who does my brows and what products I use… in the next few days I will be recording my full brow tutorial for my YouTube Channel – but for now here is the product I m currently using and I have to say, for just €3.99 – its a great little beauty buy.
I have tonnes of brow palettes I use and love, but if you are looking for an affordable little brow compact perfect for your handbag – well then you are going to love this one.
Wet n’ Wild have recently just launched in Ireland and I am loving some of the products from the makeup line. The products which cost between €1.99 and €6.49 are available from Dunnes Stores as well as selected Penneys and retailers nationwide. Any of the products that I have tried so far, I have been pretty impressed with, most recently trying out the Ultimate Brow Kit.
The kit comes with a setting wax, 2 brown powders…. not only that BUT a mini tweezer, a mini brush and a pull-out mirror as well.
The powders are soft, not too powdery and very well-pigmented, so a little goes a long way. They are also completely matte which is great when filling in / defining brows.
By mixing both of them I have the perfect colour to fill in my brows, mainly focussing the darker colour on the tail end of my brows to really give some definition and length to my brows… and working the lighter colour with a tiny bit of the dark colour together from the inner part of my brows outwards – ALWAYS using feather like strokes.
The little brush that comes with the kit is cute, but I rarely use it. I need a long brush to really have that control when filling in my brows. So what I do is – I gently dab my Crown SS025 Small Angle Duo Brow brush once in each powder and fill in my brows with a very light hand.
I use the wax sometimes… if I’m finding my brows aren’t sitting in place, but most of the time I use some vaseline and that’s one of my brow secrets. 😉
One of the things I do love about this kit is that it has a tweezers! Every girl needs a tweezers in her bag at all times… and this mini little tweezers is perfect for times like noticing one of those dreaded ‘growing back’ brow hairs in the car light… and for applying false lashes.
Only yesterday I was applying my lashes at an event and I realised I forgot my tweezers, then I remembered I had one in this little kit and it’s actually really good.
For just €3.99, this little kit is a bargain and a thumbs up from me!
Has anyone else used it and if so, what are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments section below!
Love Sue xx
