Relaxed Do’s

This Spring is all about undone, relaxed hair.

Good news for the unskilled hair stylers among us!

Everything from half tucked in pony tails to fly away messy looks were seen on the catwalk for this season, particularly at the Michael Kors show.

So messy top knots and undone hair have the high fashion nod of approval!

Half Up, Half Down

The retro look is always around in some form, and this season it’s all about the 1960’s half up hairstyle.

Couple this look with the undone style, leaving strands at the front loose and roughly combing, and you have a low maintenance tousled do that’s perfect for a girls night out.

Tousled Waves

Ditch the hair dryer girls!

This season is all about air dried, tousled hair.

Narciso Rodriguez championed the look during their catwalk shows. If you have naturally wavy hair, you’re bang on trend, but if you want to get the look simply plait the hair into two or three sections and when dry, apply mousse.

Braids

Braids have been seriously popular for Spring/Summer the last few years, and this Spring is no exception.

Again going with the relaxed look, Marissa Webb sent her models down the catwalk with side braids and flyaway strands that had been pulled loose.

14-braids-bibhu-mohapatra-h724Bibhu Mohapatra created a more polished take on the plait look, by twisting braids into a up do and tying a chic scarf around the bun.

Are you a fan of any of these looks?
