Back in January we told you about the top 5 hair trends for 2014 and slicked, wet look hair was one of them. Lately, this has become a major celebrity trend with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Alicia Keys sporting the look.
The 80’s inspired style has even been brought onto the red carpet by these stars who have slicked back their hair off their face and amped up their make up with dark smoky eyes or stand out pouts.
Celebrities like Emma Watson have gone for a different variation of the look. A 20’s inspired slicked back up do with classic red lips ensured that this lady wowed the crowds. J-Lo, Claire Danes and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have also been spotted channelling this style, keeping their make up toned down to balance out this sometimes severe look.
