Hey guys!
Happy Tuesday 🙂
So with the weekend just few days away, I thought now is the perfect time to post my next video for my TRESemme collaboration 🙂
I am always asked how I create my big curls and so today I am going to show you, but before we get started, I just want to talk hair tips with you guys for pre-curling your hair.
Tip 1. If I could give you one tip about styling your hair it would be to invest in a good heat defence spray. You have no idea just how important it is to protect your hair from extreme heat. I often get messages from girls who have tried everything but yet their hair remains dry and frizzy. This is because they are not protecting their hair whenever they use a heat appliance on it.
As you will see in the video, I use TRESemmé Heat Defence Styling Spray. It protects hair from heat up to 230 degrees which is brilliant considering that my curling tongs goes up as high as 200 degrees.
Now that I am blonder, I find I need to take extra care of my hair as it can be quite dry so I find that a heat defence spray is actually now a necessity. I noticed a difference each time after having used it, particularly as far as frizz was concerned. It reduced the appearance of frizz and my hair was quite smooth too, presumably because it was so protected from the heat.
At €6.99, it’s also very affordable. You can find this little gem, as well as most TRESemme products in Boots and Tescos.
Tip 2: I also get lots of questions about the best hairspray to use on bouncy curls. Personally, I hate those hard hairsprays that set the hair. I like to be able to run the brush through my curls for a more natural look. Is there anything worse than hairsprays that leave a sticky feeling on your hair? I hate that!
For my bouncy curls look, I used the TRESemmé SAlon Feel, Ultra Hold Hairspray. When it comes to curls, I always find it holds them perfectly in place but yet doesn’t prevent me from running the brush through my hair after to place the curls the way I like them.
I find the hold really good, and best of all, no stickiness!
