Receiving the first copy of my new book made last week an amazing one, and it was all perfectly topped off with a fab Saturday night out with my girls!
Seriously, is there any better way of de-stressing than getting all dressed up and heading out to enjoy a good laugh with your pals?
When I posted pics from the night, lot’s of you wanted to know what cosmetics I used to create my look… and here they are!!
Foundation:
I used a mixture of two foundations – Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (40) and Makeup Forever (123). These foundations are fab on their own, but they are amazing when blended together! I love the result I get.
For my contouring routine:
I used the Crownbrush Concealer Contour Palette.
This palette has twenty shades to help you perfectly sculpt your cheekbones and face.
For bronzer:
I used Fuschia Cocoa Bronze. I also stuck with the Fuschia brand for my powder too. I used the Fuschia Mineral Foundation in the shade toffee.
Blush:
To give my face a pop of colour, I opted for theBalm’s Hot Mama blusher. I love theBalm’s products. The pigment never disappoints, and they always just glide on!
As you know well by now, I absolutely love products that give my face a fab glow and I am always on the lookout for new skin-illuminating gems! Well on Saturday night, I tried the new Naked Illuminated Powder from Urban Decay, and it’s AMAZING!
For my eyes:
I opted for Inglot products. I blended shade 314, a matte orange colour, into the crease. Then I applied some Body Pigment Powder Matte in shade 121 – a fab cranberry shimmer – all over the lid, taking care to again blend this shade into the crease as well.
To further deepen the hue of the eyelid, I also blended shade 329, a matte brown, into the crease, before then dusting on shade 393 from Inglot’s Freedom System eyeshadow range, up around the brow bone.
For my liquid liner:
On my upper lid, I applied the new No7 liner, while on the waterline of the lower lid, I used Inglot gel liner in black.
My mascara:
Loving Rimmel’s Rockin’ Curves, and my false lashes are from my own new SoSueMe range! These will be in the shops come January!
When it came to shading my brows, I used the ever-reliable Ananstacia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade. This is the best brow product I have ever tried. I bought it when I was over in New York and as soon as I tried it out, I could totally understand why this product has such a cult following worldwide. You can read my full review of it here.
A lot of you were asking about my lippy!!!
My lipliner is Inglot liner number 16, and my lipstick is Fuschia’s Simplicty 64. The gloss I am wearing is from the NYX Butter range, and it is in the shade ‘apple strudle’.
I love the NYX Butter Gloss range, so much so that I even shared my favourite shades in my new book. They’re so fab to wear, whether it be for day or night!
