Last weekend, Dylan and I drove down to Wexford with my parents for a much needed break away to the Seafield Hotel. It was also partly a celebration to mark the SOSU By Suzanne Jackson announcement earlier that day.
Lana Gregan, the owner of Eikon Nail & Beauty House had kindly invited me down to see her new salon, which she opened a week earlier.
Needless to say, as soon as we arrived at the hotel, mum and I went straight to Eikon for some pampering, which is a gorgeous, trendy salon in the town of Gorey.
We decided to have a mani and a pedi each, of course after just announcing my new Gel Polish collection – it seemed like the perfect treatment to have. The salon itself is so cosy and girlie and I loved how the walls in reception had some motivating and inspiring quotes hanging on them. I think by now we all know how much I love a good quote! 🙂
After our initial chit-chat, Lana took us through to the pedicure room and it looked SO cosy!! Each manicure and pedicure chair even had its own private TV and ear phones with a tonne of girlie movies to chose from! It was a great way to switch off and relax for a while.
Beside our pedicure chairs was some fresh fruit, some old-school sweets and straight away we were handed some yummy Prosecco, which of course we didn’t say no to 🙂
While I was sitting there with my mum and the girls, I thought to myself – it is such a great place for a group of girls to attend. It is a perfect setting for a hen party treat or a girly get together.
If you have a hen coming up or you are planning a girlie weekend away, you should really look into booking Eikon Nail & Beauty House. There is a pedicure room that can hold x4, a fancy/ chic manicure room which can hold x5 and a uber cool makeup room for x2!
So you could all move around and have different treatments together and the group pamper day is priced so well.
When the girls were doing my nails, they asked if they could use my new SOSU polishes, which I brought with me to show Lana, and I was so pleased that they loved them too. I went for red (First Date) and mum went for the pink (Boss Bitch).
It was literally the most perfect way to chill out after months of hard work on the SOSU project, and I speak from experience when I say the girls in Eikon do an amazing job on nails!
I have to say, Lana has done an incredible job with the salon. She worked so hard to transform it from a kitchen to a chic glam palace, and her hard work has definitely paid off! I loved the beautiful décor.
I would highly recommend Eikon Nail & Beauty House to anyone looking for a glam day away that involves pampering, nibbles, and some champers!

Congratulations on your new business Lana!
Thanks for having us!

Your Dad deserved some pampering too… Men often neglect their hands, nails and cuticles and arguably need deep nourishing spa manicures more than many women do…
