Happy Thursday Guys! It’s nearly the weekend again (Yay!). I’d say a lot of you guys are having a busy week with kids back to school so this week so it can’t come quicker 🙂
We are back today with a post on our top x5 Autumnal lipstick shades! We absolutely adore autumnal make-up here in SoSueMe HQ when we can start introducing a smokier eye, darker lip and really playing around with looks. This was a highly requested post after a massive reaction to our facebook fave autumnal make-up images and lots of you guys wanted to know what lippy shades are on-trend and worth a purchase.
We have selected colours that will suit most skin tones, and a mixture of high street as well as more high end depending on your budget 🙂

1. L’Oreal ‘560 Saucy Mauve’
Mauve Lips, a trend set originally in the 90’s, are set to be huge this A/W already having been sported by Kylie Jenner’s famous pout recently. We LOVE this shade by L’oreal. It is a gorgoeus and affordable dupe of many high end alternatives and gives a glossy,highly pigmented finish. This will once again suit any skin tone and can be warmed up/cooled down in tone with a lip-liner underneath.
2. Rimmel Kate Moss Collection ’01’
Some trends always live on, and a classic red lip is most certainly one of them! We are huge fans of the Rimmel Kate Moss Collection Lippies and if you are looking for the perfect, glossy red lip then shade 01 is for you! We have had this in our make-up bags for awhile now and find that it is always the one that we will reach for over the higher end brands! It is just that good and a great bargain buy.
3. MAC ‘Rebel’
We have mentioned this Lippy before, but it really is just the most gorgeous deep warm purple. It suits all skin tones as it is a warm shade so even for the paler girls it looks gorgeous on the lip. This shade has a huge cult following including celebrities such as Rihanna (pictured above) & Katy Perry. It has amazing pigment and an easy application due to its creamy texture. A must-have in your Autumn Make-up bag!
4. Inglot ‘435’
Black lipstick is no longer just for Goth’s! It is a huge lip-colour in many brand’s A/W collections this year and although not for the faint of heart, this could look so cool if worn the right way! With a simply eye-liner flick and lashes, we think this could be a total show-stopper and set you apart from the crowd for all the right reasons. We love inglot’s lipstick and this one here is a matte texture. We think that when your are going for a very dark colour, matte can be the safest as it is least likely to budge.
NYX Matte Lip Cream ‘Coppenhagen’
As you may know, we love NYX lip-glosses! The pigment and lasting power is incredible and they always create beautiful shades. This Matte Lip Cream is called ‘Copenhagen’ and it is a FAB colour. It is also so handy for applying instead of a lipstick due to the applicator wand. This is Autumn summed up in a Lip Colour! Love!
