Remember Sister Sister? The twins with the collection of bizarre hats and a super cool bedroom (they had vanity lights back when few even knew what the hell vanity lights were!)
Would you believe it has been 16 years since that show was on air?
Well as part of our #TT series, we decided to take a look at where the cast are today! P.s If you missed last week’s #TT on Clueless, you can catch it here.
Tia Campbell (Tia Mowry)
37 year old Tia Mowry – the studious twin on the show – is now the host of her own cooking show. The actress became a full-on foodie after she was diagnosed with endometriosis and was advised by her doctor to change her diet by quitting dairy and processed food for a year.
Tia hit the headlines last year after a VERY public spat with Charlize Theron in a SoulCycle class.
Tia told InTouch Magazine that she approached her fellow actress to say hello but was met with an eye roll from Charlize followed by an utterance of, “Oh my god”. After Tia shared the experience with the magazine, Charlize approached SoulCycle management to try and get Tia banned from the class. Charlize complained of a privacy breach adding that she could not have any expectation of anonymity during her workout with Tia around. Needless to say, management refused to ban Tia.
According to an employee, Charlize is alleged to have raged, “This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers on in your studio?”
Tamera Landry (Tamera Mowry)
Tamera Mowry – the funny loud twin on the show – is now a presenter and lifestyle expert!
In 2011, she and Tia appeared in a reality series Tia & Tamera, which also followed her preparations for her wedding to Fox News correspondent Adam Housely. Together they have 2 children, Aden and Ariah Housely.
Tamera came under fire from fans last year when she posted an Instagram pic announcing her second pregnancy….complete with paid-for product placement by Clearblue!
Fans and critics accused the actress of tastelessly cashing in on the special announcement.
At the time she had written, “We are thrilled to announce we are #ClearblueConfirmed! Can’t wait to meet baby #2! Love Clearblue’s pregnancy test with Smart Countdown. It helped me get through the wait to get my result by counting down with me. #spon”
Interesting Fact: Tia and Tamera were actually born in Germany as both parents were posted there with the US army at the time!
Ray Campbell (Tim Reid)
Tim Reid, who played strict dad Ray in the show, is now 70 years old!
The father of 4 had already enjoyed a successful acting career prior to Sister Sister and after the show he went on to have a recurring role in That 70’s Show.
Tim has two children from his first marriage and is now married to actress Daphne Reid, whom some of you may recognise as Aunt Viv from ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’!
Lisa Landry (Jackee Harry)
Jackée Harry played Tamera’s sassy adoptive mum Lisa. She had all the best lines and was definitely the funniest character in the show.
After Sister Sister came to an end, Jackee went on to appear in shows such as That’s So Raven, Everybody Hates Chris, and Let’s Stay Together. She’s also on Broadway in Matilda The Musical!
Roger (Marques Houston)
Can you believe this is Roger, the annoying nerdy kid who lived next door to Tia and Tamera?
These days, Marques is a singer/songwriter … and enemy of Chris Brown it would seem! After Marques left a comment underneath a raunchy photo of Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran, Chris’ friend Wackstar uploaded a picture of two guns accompanied by caption that carried a very clear – yet veiled – threat to Marques. Tran meanwhile left the warfare out of the situation and simply replied to Marques’s comment with an annoyed emoji.
Considering how eager he appears to be for people to forget his Sister Sister character, we reckon she should have just written ‘Go home Roger!’.
Tahj (Tahj Mowry)
Sister Sister was more of a family affair than we realised!
Tia and Tamera’s little brother Tahj Mowry played their cousin on the show! Tahj was also a regular alongside Mary Kate and Ashley in Full House!
These days, the 29 year old is starring in the sitcom Baby Daddy and also released an EP.
Bianca Lawson played popular girl Rhonda, and high school nemesis of Tia and Tamera.
She also starred in Saved By the Bell, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dawson’s Creek, The Vampire Diaries, and most recently, Pretty Little Liars.
Bianca also became Queen Bey’s step sister when her father married Beyoncé’s mum, Tina Knowles.

It changed a bit over the years but here’s the lot of them. (Prepare to have this tune stuck in your head!)
