Get The Look – Celeb Inspired Festival Fashion!

Hi guys!

Hope you’re all starting to get that weekend feeling! We certainly are here at SoSueMe HQ.

This post has been highly requested as it is now festival season, so if you are lucky enough to be going to one or two this Summer or even just looking for some style ideas in which you can work this cool trend, then this blog post is for you!

Festival style has always been a firm favourite of ours and it has been rocked so well this year by the likes of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Irish gal Laura Whitmore at festivals such as Coachella and Glastonbury.

We also spotted some great style at Longitude last weekend! There’s no doubt that this is a seasonal trend, so while all of our style picks today are super affordable and great for the festival scene, we deliberately chose pieces that you would be able to use as part of your A/W wardrobe over the coming months.

Look 1 – Kendall Jenner

Our first look is a really effortless, cool and comfy style inspired by Kendall Jenner. It’s the kind of look that is great if you don’t want to worry about tan (especially if the festival is in Ireland where let’s face it, it’s bound to rain!)

This look is also totally bang on trend. We especially love the fab Boho top. The detail on it is so pretty! Ballet flats are all in at the moment too and as well as being insanely stylish, they are also really comfortable.

Look 2 – Gigi

The only thing we love more than Gigi, is Gigi’s festival wardrobe! The girl never gets it wrong.

We especially love this particular look on her. Every part of it, right down to the gold head chain, is just the definition of festival chic! Once again, right on trend with the combination of fringing, layering and lots of festival bling.

Even ten years from now, this outfit would look amazing at a festival! When you go for a classic style, it never dates, and best of all, each of these pieces can be easily incorporated into a variety of other A/W looks.

If you don’t want the hassle of a head chain, (some of them can be a bit awkward) just pick up a pack of temporary metallic festival tattoos from Penneys and apply one strip to your forehead. They also look great on the neck, hands, arms … though don’t go too overboard! You don’t want them distracting from your gorgeous outfit!

Look 3 – Laura Whitmore

This is such a cute and fun festival look. We’re big fans of the suede dress, and we love how Laura has added her own grunge edge to it with biker boots and a black jacket. She really always hits the nail on the head with her festival style!

Also how cute is Laura’s floral bag? We couldn’t source the exact same bag as hers, but we did find a beautiful beaded one that would be a perfect addition to any festival look.
