Oh Kanye. We really don’t know what to say to this. It’s been reported today that at his Sydney show last night Kanye stopped in the middle of his performance demanding everyone get on their feet for his song.
‘I can’t do this song, I can’t do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t.’
Kanye then refused to continue when he noticed that two members of the audience weren’t on their feet. The first person waved a prosthetic leg to Kanye, prompting him to remark that that person was fine and could stay sitting, but things got awkward when the other audience member stayed seated.
Kanye, being Kanye, began to get irate.
‘This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable,’
Despite the crowd trying to tell Kanye to move on and leave the guy be BECAUSE HE WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR, Kanye left everyone waiting for three long minutes while he sent a bodyguard to make sure the guy actually was disabled. Kanye then remarked that he too was fine and continued the show. Not surprisingly, people in attendance took to social media to express their frustration.
One person tweeted; “I have a three minute video of Kanye waiting for a gut in a wheelchair to stand up”, while another tweeted “i know Kanye West likes to think he’s Jesus, but telling a wheelchair bound kid to stand up and dance won’t help him”
Oh Kanye.
