One of Hollywoods biggest stars for the past two decades and a pin up ever since she burst onto our screens, it seems Cameron Diaz may finally be ready to tie the knot with boyfriend Benji Madden! The starlet famously told Esquire magazine that marriage was never something she was drawn to, but that may be about to change!
Rumours that Diaz was engaged started circulating back in July when she was spotted with a big shiny ring on her finger, and lately she’s been spotted out and about with her hand conveniently covered up. When asked about the rumours in a recent interview with Cosmo, Cameron dodged the questions, seemingly adding fuel to the rumours.
She met her current boyfriend, guitarist Benji Madden four years ago through a mutual friend, but the pair are only thought to be dating a year. It remains to be seen for now if Benji has popped the question, or indeed if Cameron has said yes, but she had this to say on her relationship.
“You have to find someone in the same place as you are. Timing is everything. If you get into a relationship where you want something the guy doesn’t, it’s never going to work.
You’re never going to get him to be in that place. No matter how old you are, finding the guy who’s in the same place as you are and wants to show up is the only way a relationship works, period.”
