Brace yourselves ladies; this is not good news!! Channing Tatum, known for his incredible physique, admits he’s no longer the buff, toned man he once was. In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show during the week, Tatum laughed when DeGeneres told him,
“Since ‘Magic Mike,’ now whenever you dance we think you’re going to take your clothes off.”
“No, no. You definitely don’t want that right now,” Tatum laughed. “Right now, what me and my wife like to call it, I am very ‘fappy,’…I’m very fat and happy right now … I’ve been working for two straight years, and now it’s some really needed downtime with the family.”
As for how he feels about giving up his Sexiest Man Alive title to Adam Levine, Tatum joked,
“I think the only thing that you really pass on is the ability for your friends to just make complete fun of you for the rest of your life.”
Tatum admitted he’s enjoying getting to just be a dad and is loving the time at home with his wife and their 8-month-old daughter, Everly.
“She’s saying, ‘Da, da, da, da, da.’ I don’t think she knows exactly what it means just yet, but it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter at all,”
