With summer rearing it’s beautiful head, (I am LOVING these sunny mornings) I thought today would be a good day to blog about some summer shoes!
Over the years, I have learnt a very valuable lesson and that is BUY now when everyone is not. That way when the summer months roll around, and God knows time is moving so fast these days, you will be ahead of the posy with a fully stocked wardrobe and ready for the lovely weather.
One thing that sells out every year in a second is cute sandals for nights out, holidays, and fancy occasions, i.e summer wedding, communions, and so on.
No matter what the occasion, whether it be a glam night out with the girls, walking the port in Marbella, a summer wedding or those casual/glam events, I have selected my fave MUST haves in the summer shoe department!

1/ Barley There Ankle Strap Sandals

I had a pair of these last summer and I absolutely loved them. Teaming these gorgeous coral snakeskin sandals with a full black outfit makes the shoes the statement piece and they really stand out. For me these are a big fave!

2/ Neon Strappy Sandals

This summer it is all about the pastel colour palette, however I love a bit of neon regardless of the trend. These would be the perfect accessory with a stunning pair of skinny ripped black jeans, teamed with an off-the-shoulder Tee.

3/Fringe Sandals

Only the other night we reported on the latest trend – fringing! I have always been a huge lover of that effortless boho look, and as soon as I picture this look in my head, fringing immediately springs to mind! That 70’s vibe is back with a bang this year, and so, I have included my favourite fringe sandals here. Team these stunning sandals with a nice oversized denim shirt dress or a pair of light denim ripped jeans and shirt, and you’re bang on trend!

4/ Lace Up Booties

These lace up boots have been the rage for some months now and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. I particularly love these Missguided ones as you are nailing two trends in one, A/ that laced-up look, and, B/ that laser cut effect. These booties are a total nod to Kim K and I love them… particulary in the tan colour!

5/ Barely There Sandals

6/ Gemstone Flats

And now for some flats! I bought these sandals last summer and I lived in them throughout both holidays. These sandals go with maxis, denim shorts, bikinis, dresses, jeans and so much more. They are the perfect sandal and I only ever bring these flats with me, (as well as my trainers.) They are perfect for summer. A must-have, in my opinion! 🙂
