Hi everyone!
Rosanna here all the way from the beautiful Seychelles, where I’m enjoying some much-needed R&R! The weather has been gorgeous, and we’ve been enjoying plenty of time on the beach.
My recipe this week is designed to help to give you a flat tummy in time for hitting the beach or pool if you have a break away planned. I’m so frequently asked about how to reduce bloating, and a healthy digestive system is crucial to a flatter stomach. One of the best things you can do is increase your intake of dietary fibre from eating fruit and veggies. I love making smoothies because they maintain all of their fibre when you make them in a blender, unlike juices.
This simple but effective smoothie contains the delicious tropical flavour of pineapple, which I’ve been eating plenty of on hols! Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which helps to break down protein fibres and aid digestion for a flatter tummy. I’ve also added in ginger and mint to the smoothie. This combo not only tastes delicious and refreshing, but ginger is amazing for boosting digestion and getting rid of bloating, and mint really helps your digestion too.
I hope you enjoy this tasty smoothie recipe and let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook if you get a chance to make it! Simply tag #RosannaDavisonNutrition.
Have a great week and chat next week 🙂
