Kendall & Kylie Jenner Top “Most Influential Teens” List

Time magazine has published their annual list of influential young people for 2014, and both Kendall and Kylie Jenner managed to make the final cut of 25. There was, however, some backlash on social media after the list was released…

Despite both of the girls having hugely impressive CVs for people of their age, some people took to Twitter to voice their anger over the fact that two reality tv stars could be held in the same light as the likes of Malala Yousafzai, the 17-year-old Pakistani education activist who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize last week.

What those who are in uproar fail to take into account is the massive following that the sisters have, and the fact that they have accomplished so much in the fields they’ve chosen to pursue. Kendall has already modeled for the likes of Tommy hilfiger, Givenchy and Chanel, and Kylie has started her own brand of hair extensions. Add to this the novel the pair have released, their own clothing line at PacSun and the fact that they are fashion inspirations for millions of young girls and you’d find it hard to argue they haven’t earned their spot on the list.

All we can say is well done to the young girls and we look forward to seeing what 2015 has to offer for the popular pair.
