Kristen Stewart Is Ok With Her Haters!

Kristen Stewart has been off the radar of late, but that’s about to change as the actress gears up for the release of three new movies! While we haven’t seen much of her since the Twilight saga ended, Kristen has said that she’s keenly aware that some people just plain don’t like her or her movies…and she’s totally fine with that!!

“Honestly, I don’t care. It’s fine. I’m really happy doing what I’m doing. I’m sure there are a ton of people out there who would hate [all] my movies, just as I’m sure there are people out there who are obsessed with Twilight and say, ‘I watched the series, and she completely let me down, and then I watched every one of her other movies, and I f–––ing hate her!’ And that’s cool! Just don’t watch my movies.”

Kristen was talking to the Daily Beast as she gets ready to head on the promotion trail for some upcoming Indie movies that she’s starring in, including Camp X-Ray where she plays a guard at Guantanamo Bay and for which she’s earning plenty of praise for her part. We haven’t seen the movie yet, but the reactions from movie festivals that have had screenings are pretty good, so we look forward to bringing you a review ASAP.

Kristen also recently revealed why she got into acting, saying she was first inspired to get into movie making because her parents were hardworking crew members.

“I wanted to come home with hundreds of stories and plates of food nicked from craft services, looking like I had just been through absolute hell. I thought what they did for a living was awesome,”

However, a very young Stewart realized she was too small to be of any real use as a crew member and decided to give acting a shot. After a year of auditioning, Stewart nabbed her first major role in 2001’s The Safety of Objects.

“I thought, ‘Wow this isn’t just a cool job like my parents have, this is who I am,” the Twilight star says. “That was the day my dream of being a grip or a script supervisor shattered, and my life opened beyond my wildest dreams.”
