Hi guys!
So last week I announced that I would be doing a weekly Snapchat Q&A Session in which I would answer some of your most commonly asked questions. Below are this week’s top 10!
Don’t forget, if you’re on Snapchat and want to send me a question, you can follow me on sosueme_ie!
Enjoy

1. What is your favourite hairspray?
I love the TRESemmé Perfectly Undone Ultra-Brushable Hairspray. It’s been a favourite of mine for months now.
I was introduced to the product during a collaboration with TRESemmé last summer and I have been a fan of it ever since. Recently however I began using Dylan’s hairspray, Got 2 B Glued from Schwarzkopf again. It’s brilliant! I sprayed this on my hair last Friday night to create a sleek look.
2. When will the SOSU Lashes be available?
They will be available after Christmas, hopefully around February just in time for Valentines! I’ll be keeping you informed though so you will know well in advance! I have been road testing them for some time now to make sure they are 100% perfect before they go on sale and I am so happy with them. I just know you are going to LOVE them!
3. What tan do you use?
I have a couple of different faves, to be honest.. and I go through phases!
For a spray tan, I like exposed or Lauren’s Way. When it comes to developing tans, I usually go for the mist by St Moriz.
My instant tan of choice has got to be Cocoa Brown Shimmer Gel, which I included in my September faves blog post. The shimmer in this is so beautiful and it smells divine too!
4.What can I use to cover dark circles?
Use colour correctors. To figure out which shade of concealer/corrector you need, look at the colour wheel. What colour is opposite the colour you want to cover? Lilac is for under-eye circles, green is for redness, etc. CrownBrush and Make Up For Ever have some brilliant colour correctors. I would also suggest that you invest in good eye cream.
5. What makeup remover do you use?
Lately I have been using Dizzolv’IT MakeUp Melt Cleansing Balm from Cailyn Ireland, which I find to be a great makeup remover. It has a balmy-like texture, which might not be to everyone’s taste, though if you have very dehydrated skin like me, then you will more than likely LOVE the texture.
I have to say, it really does melt away the makeup like it promises. When I’m filming, I wear heavy foundation and eye makeup but it all comes off quite easily once I start massaging Dizzolv’IT on to the skin. It cleanses the skin so thoroughly and removes all makeup and product residue so afterwards your face feels ridiculously soft and clean.
I had an inkling from the get go that I would like this product as I had already been left really impressed by the other products I had tried from the Cailyn Ireland range. (It’s also worth noting that Dizzolv’IT comes in two sizes, 50g, and 100g.)
Once my makeup is off, I like to apply some eye cream and moisturiser. This month I have been using L’occitane Creme Divine Moisturiser which I blogged about last week in my September Favourites post (omg, ADORE this product!)
6. What is your favourite foundation?
I’m a big fan of the Make Up For Ever range of foundations, and lately I am loving their Ultra HD Stick Foundation. I usually apply a Make Up For Ever liquid foundation first and then if I need extra coverage, I apply the foundation stick over it. It’s sooo good!
7. Why did you stop using Balayage?
I just found it too hard to maintain and to manage to be honest. The bleach combined with the styling products just seemed to really dry out my hair in the end. On top of that, because it was two tone, it didn’t look its best unless it was styled, so every day I would have to either style it or throw it up in a bun! Anyone who knows me knows I’m not into styling my hair every day. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the look of it, but it was a lot of work and I prefer when my hair isn’t a lot of work.
8. What is your favourite online shop?
Missguided – always! You are guaranteed to always find what you are looking for there!
9. What counties are you planning on bringing your workshops to next?
Limerick is next on the agenda but it’s already sold out (thank you everyone). We are currently planning workshops for Athlone, Dublin, Galway and Cork. The minute we have everything confirmed, I will let everyone know.
10. Where did you get your glasses?
The glasses I wear most often are by Max & Co. I got them in Specsavers. I also have a pair of Boss Orange specs too which I’m wearing in the pic below. About 2 years ago I found that I was becoming more and more prone to headaches and that my eyes were often very tried and sore. Turns out I needed glasses … one of the consequences of having a job that involves sitting in front of a computer screen for hours on end!
I had my eyes tested in Specsavers and afterwards I picked up some nice Max & Co specs.
