Review: Eyeliners To Slay With!

Hi guys!

I’m back today with a review as part of my weekly #NonSponsored series for the whole month of January.

As I’ve said before, most of my reviews aren’t sponsored anyway but I thought this month it would be nice to run a non-paid series.  If you want to read week 1 review, you can do so here, while my week 2 review can be found here.

Today, I’m talking about two seriously good budget eyeliners. For those of you who are following me on Instagram, then you will know that I love a good lick of liner and some #SOSUbySJ lashes!

With SO many liquid liners on the market, I thought I would do a review on my all time favourite two that are first of all AMAZING and secondly such good budget buys! With that in mind…. here they are!

Eyeliner 1:

Seventeen Wet Look Lacquer Liner

So What Does It Do?

The main advantage about this black liquid liner is that it helps you create a perfect cat eye look. Another thing to be noted is that it is a wet look liner which I think gives a much more dramatic effect.

Why Do I Like It?

I love it for a couple of reasons.

1. First and foremost, the brush is one of the thinnest brushes I have ever used. Seriously, it’s super easy to use. Because the brush is so thin, you can go right in at the lash line so it really helps you create the perfect cat eye or winged look,

2. I love how black it is. The colour payoff is strong so one coat is all you need.

3. The longevity is also incredibly good. I could apply this at 8pm and it would still be perfect at 3am! It also doesn’t chip and  stays on perfectly, which is a huge bonus!

How Do I Use It?

It’s a brush eyeliner so all you have to do is brush it on.

What’s The Price & Where To Get It?

It’s €5.49 and it can be bought here

Eyeliner 2:

Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Liner

rimmel glam eyes

Another long-term favourite of mine, and a great budget buy liner – is the Rimmel Glam Eyes.

So What Does It Do?

It’s an ultra precision liquid liner which is really good for creating a variety of looks, particularly the cat eye look.

Why Do I Like It?

I have been using this liner for donkey’s years and it has never let me down!

The thin brush makes application really easy. I also like it because if you make a mistake, the formula is the kind that is easy to remove. Like the Seventeen liner, the pigment is also super black.

How do I use it?

The wand is quite thin so it’s very easy to paint on the liner. Once you had a steady hand and an idea of the look you want to create, you’re good to go!

What price is it and where can I get it?

It costs €7.49 and it’s available here

I hope you enjoyed this review and I see you guys next week!
