We here at SoSueMe are HUGE fans of model and actress, Emily Ratajkowski.
The girl always looks flawless, so naturally we wanted to find out her secret!
Sadly for us, her secret is good old-fashioned genetics. That said, there are still a few products she swears by. And we literally mean ‘a few’. Her skincare and makeup routine can only be described as minimalist.
In a previous interview, Emily revealed that she removes her makeup by applying some Neutrogena Moisturiser to a tissue and using that to take off all traces of foundation and eye makeup.
The one product she cannot live without however is Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar Moisturiser which can be bought in Boots. She is also a huge fan of the Glam Glow range of face masks.
Even though her routine is simplistic, she still likes to take care of the delicate skin underneath her eyes.
She previously revealed that she applies Aquaphor – the healing ointment used by Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé for tackling dry skin – underneath her eyes each night to firm the skin and keep it looking soft.
Emily’s makeup routine is also very minimalist. For foundation, she mixes a little of her Hope in a Jar Moisturiser together with Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, Broad Spectrum SPF 20 in the shade natural beige.
Her concealer of choice meanwhile is the 5 Camouflage Cream Palette from Make Up For Ever.
When it comes to grooming her brows, she uses Maybelline’s Great Lash Clear Mascara. Once shaped, she then fills them in using Maybelline’s Expert Eyes Twin Brow and Eye Pencil in the shade medium brown.
Rather than using a cream blush, Emily prefers to use lipstick to give her cheeks a dash of natural looking colour. Who would have thought?!
She uses Make Up For Ever’s Rouge Artist lipstick in shade #9, and applies it by dotting it on to her cheeks before blending it in with her index finger.
As Emily is blessed with a very full pout, over-lining is not a skill she will ever need to master. That said, she doesn’t shy away from statement colours either. Her lipstick of choice is MAC’s Russian Red.
During her interview with ITG, she revealed that she doesn’t own any eyeshadows (we can’t actually imagine not owning any eyeshadows!), but she does like eyeliner and uses Revlon’s ColourStay Liquid Eye Pen followed by Clinique’s High Impact Mascara.
This is by far the most minimalistic celebrity skincare/makeup routine we have ever come across!
