Hi guys!
Happy Tuesday! Hope you’re all well recovered and refreshed after the long weekend!
Dylan and I spent most of our weekend at the beautiful wedding of our good friends Fran and Rachel in the Powerscourt Hotel, Wicklow.
It’s getting so close to our own big day now, so the excitement is REALLY starting to kick in!
Lots of you loved the dress I wore to the wedding; in fact, I think it sold out soon after I posted some shots of it on my Instagram!
I also got a good few questions about my makeup and in particular my lipstick.
You guys loved the shade and wanted to know where it was from.
The liner is one of my go-to favourites: Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk! I’m obsessed with that shade!
The lipstick was also from Charlotte Tilbury – Hepburn Honey, which, as you can see from the shot below, is a nude shade with subtle brown undertones.
My other favourite from the CT range, which I wear very regularly, is Penelope Pink.
This is more of a pinky nude, and it always looks so pretty on.
Both Hepburn Honey and Penelope Pink glide on so smoothly and have such a beautiful dewy finish to them as well, which I always love in a lipstick!
After I posted the Snapchat swatch yesterday, some of you snapped me to ask if I thought they would go well with certain skin tones and hair colours.
As you can see, they’re warm, neutral shades, so in that sense, they’re quite safe and should look flattering on regardless of hair colour and skin tone.
Below is what Penelope Pink looks like when on.
I wear this shade all the time; it’s just one of those classic shades that always look equally as well for a daytime makeup look as they do for a dressy, nighttime look.
