Hey guys!
It’s officially Spring! Did you all remember to turn the clocks forward on Saturday night?! I am so excited to now have long, and hopefully bright spring/summer evenings to look forward to!
As most of you know by now, I had the CHOP last Saturday! I have been working up the courage to get it cut for a while now. It’s not too short, but to me it’s still a massive change, because my hair has ALWAYS been quite long.
Even though I was so nervous about the cut, I am so glad I did it. My hair feels lighter, more healthier and it is so much more manageable. BIG thank you to Ami Mc Partlin for the cut, you are amazing!
A lot of you were asking if I still had my Gold Fever extensions in. Yes I do still have my hair extensions in, but the purpose of them was never to add length to my own hair. They were there to add volume and thickness. Before the cut, my real hair was actually the exact same length as my extensions!
I would have loved to have donated the cut hair to charity, but unfortunately, I couldn’t do so, as charities only accept real hair, and it would have been next to impossible to have separated the strands of real hair from the strands of extension hair. Had it not been for that, I would have gladly donated my hair.
On Saturday night, a gang of us headed out to Siam Thai for dinner. My brother Robert is off to Canada with his job until Christmas, so naturally we had a big send off for him!
On the night, I had planned to wear a gorgeous black and white dress from Starla. I absolutely loved the fit of this dress, and the lace detail on the front was so classy. I was really looking forward to wearing it …. until I spluttered some fake tan all over the dress while trying to add some colour to my legs! Needless to say, I screamed the house down in disappointment and ran to the wardrobe to helplessly find something else in a rush.
Lets not forget, we had a dinner reservation andI was already 10 mins late!!! (I’m ALWAYS LATE)
After trying n a MILLION things, I decided on a neon skirt, you can get it here and black bralet top from Penneys, similar here.
For my makeup, I opted for a clean classic look to compliment the hairstyle.
As part of my routine, I also used the new Crownbrush Blush Bronze Illuminate palette. This is one of the new additions to the Crownbrush Makeup collection, and I was seriously impressed when I used it.
You guys know how picky I am when it comes to highlighters, so you can take my word for it when I say that this one ticks all the boxes! When it comes to products, I have to be impressed by the results before I will even consider recommending it. I am an ambassador for Crownbrush, but make no mistake, if this palette didn’t impress me, I absolutely wouldn’t be recommending it.
A good few of you admired my lippy, on the night I was wearing this brand and the lipstick was called; Kiss Me You Fool! 🙂
There you have it guys,
all my outfit and makeup details from the weekend!
Sue xx
