Hi guys!
Hope you’re all enjoying the gorgeous sunshine! Talk about a lovely way to start the week!
Well today I am back with another amazing dupe. (If you missed my previous recent dupes, you can find them here: Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow, DUO Glue and Coco Chanel Perfume)
As most of you know, I’m a huge fan of MAC’s Strobe Cream – it’s all kinds of amazing! – but recently, I came across a seriously inexpensive highlighting balm & highlighting pen that gave you the EXACT same results.
There really is no difference between the two – Botanics and Mac.
This dupe is from the Boots range, Botanics, and it’s called the Botanics Radiance Balm All Bright! Best of all, it’s just approximately €8, which compared to the Strobe Cream’s €28 price tag, is an absolute bargain!
The botanics pen also offers a beautiful radiance to the skin and great for popping in the handbag.
I first came across these products a couple of months ago when a makeup artist I know, Sinéad Murphy, was using them.
Sinéad is an ex-MAC makeup artist so when I heard her saying that the Botanics Radiance Balm All Bright was every bit as good as the Strobe Cream, I knew I had to try it for myself because I genuinely didn’t think any highlighter could rival MAC.
I have been using the Botanics Radiance Balm All Bright & the pen for awhile now and I can say in all honesty that both are very good!
The balm creates a wonderful dewy base and even acts as a primer for foundation, while the pen gives a beautiful highlight to the face esp the under eye.
Don’t get me wrong, I do still love the MAC Strobe Cream but there’s no denying that it’s a little on the pricey side, so if you want the same results for less, then the Botanics All Bright Balm, (or even the Botanics Radiance Highlighter Pen, will do the job. The pen is especially great for bringing with you when travelling or for popping into the handbag for a night out. I picked it up when I was in Dallas)
Because the radiance balm is so inexpensive, if you happen to lose it (and after a couple of cocktails, it can happen to the best of us!), at least there won’t be as many tears as there would if you had lost your expensive MAC!
Have you tried it? If so, let me know if you love it as much as Sinéad and I do!
