Day 3 In The Caribbean!

swimsuit 1

Hey guys…. so day 3 and here we are with another update.

Are you guys enjoying them? Let me know! I enjoy writing them in the evenings when the sun has gone down. I order myself a cocktail, I sit outside our outdoor pool and I blog.. it’s heaven for me. Blogging is my passion and nothing can stop me, not even a holiday 🙂

So today… well if you are following me on snapchat (sosueme_ie), you would know how badly bitten by mosquitos I am! The first thing I did this morning (well after I blogged my outfit post from last night) was head down to the shops here in our resort to get something to help with the itch. I got chatting to a really friendly local guy who works on the grounds here and he suggested some natural aloe vera – I told him I had none and he asked me to sit and wait and he will be back. 20 mins later he comes up to me with about x10 chopped pieces of natural aloe vera that he cut from the plant himself… how sweet.

Read Day 1 update and day 2 update here.

He told me to apply it directly on to the bites and it would cool the swelling and itch. He then gave me this coil thing that I have to light at night and apparently it will keep them away. How sweet was that. Since I applied the aloe vera, the swelling has gone down and the itch has subsided – thank god.

This evening we went on the most amazing journey ever – a sunset cruise. Dylan booked it for us the other day and as soon as we got the call from reception to head to the beach so we could dock the boat, there was no asking us twice.

We headed down to the boat on the beach and off we went! While we were at sea, we were treated to some Caribbean rum punch and boy was it tasty! Would you believe, the local rum over here is 45% and it’s so yummy, strong –  bust tasty.

After heading into the horizon at at standard speed, all of a sudden the boat speed up and we were darting towards some high waves… next of all about 20 dolphins surrounded the boat, then 50, then about a 100 and they played with us for an hour, jumping through the waves and showing off.

I was in awe!!

For more drenalin activity… I went enquiring about the diving today. My dad is big into it and he told me to 100% book it out here. I have never dived before and so I wanted some more info.

So…. on Sunday I am going for a diving class and later that evening I hope to dive about 30ft. I’m very scared at the thought, but being out here in the Caribbean sea – I think it has to be done! Right..?!

Overall we are enjoying the relaxation, the food, the drinks and the sun. The views are amazing here and one thing I love is the cloudiness. As soon as you are getting too hot, a cloud veers over and you cool down instantly. The tropical weather is great. Well in May anyway. I wouldn’t want pure sun all day – I am not a fan of lying in heat all day. I get too hot and agitated. So the breeze and clouds from time to time is nice and cooling.

Today we got a few quick shots outside our villa…. so here are the details, enjoy…
