What I Wore!

As promised, I have been doing a lot more fashion shoots lately, and the response to the pictures has been really positive! I’m so glad you like them.

Well today I decided to do a shoot featuring two pieces I picked up from online shop Chicwish recently. They are very celeb-inspired online boutique with fabulous pieces for a great price.

Look 1: Glam stripes cut out midi skirt

I have been noticing this preppy style of striped skirt being worn by a lot of celebs lately.

I think it’s perfect for a wedding! It has such a gorgeous shape and it looks so elegant on. It’s a classic style and so pretty too. It’s available in three colours, but you know me and how much I love black!

I loved wearing this and I can’t wait until I get the opportunity to wear it again!

The top I am wearing is not available, however this off-the-shoulder knit top would go well with the skirt, as would this textured black crop top with cut out waist.

Look 2: Grey double breasted mac coat I have always said that very girl needs a mac coat in her wardrobe, because it’s the kind of item you will have, use and love forever. I chose this particular coat because it’s casual yet stylish and super light – so perfect for summer. The detail on the front is so nice.

To complete the look, you could pair it with cute flats too. I actually found a pair on Chichwish which I think I will pick up for myself.

This is exactly the kind of outfit I like to wear on those days when I don’t want to go dressing up too much, but I don’t want to look under dressed either. That’s the great thing about macs. They always add to a look.
