We’re a big fan of the flashmob here at SoSueMe HQ…I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a spontaneous bit of singing or dancing! So when a reader got in touch with this beautiful video that he and a group of friends had taken at his twin brother’s wedding on August 4th, we knew we wanted to share it for all of you to see!
Conor Flynn, married his childhood sweetheart, Claire Dunne in the Ferrycarrig hotel in Wexford. Both are from Enniscorthy and have a very special group of friends who got together to surprise them with a fantastic and heartfelt rendition of Seasons of Love from the musical Rent, standing up in different sections of the room the couple’s continued delight.
Thanks to Michael Flynn, the groom’s twin brother for sending the video in to us. What makes it more incredible is that this was the first time they had tried it, as there wasn’t any way to rehearse beforehand!! In Michael’s words;
“The group singing included mutual friends of the bride and groom, school friends of the bride, school friends of the groom, college friends of the bride, some of the bride’s immediate family, some of the groom’s immediate and extended family. Because of the spread of people being all over the country (and some abroad), we didn’t have a chance to get together to rehearse so this video which was taken at the wedding was the first time it was actually performed and luckily it paid off!!”
