Joseph Gordon-Levitt, one of the most stylish guys on the planet, has gotten and married his girlfriend Tasha McCauley, in a secret ceremony on December 20th. A rep for Gordon-Levitt confirmed the news this evening, ensuring that many a heart will be broken tonight!
Not one for really courting the limelight, Joseph Gordon-Levitt shunned the stereotypical celebrity relationship, and his new bride is anything but a Hollywood socialite. Tasha McCauley is the CEO of a robotics company, is a robotics engineer herself with an MBA and she speaks three languages.
While many of us have a soft spot for the ridiculously cool friendship that has blossomed between Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel and may have hoped the two might someday get together, we have to hand it to the guy; it’s no mean feat these days for a genuine celeb like him to keep a normal relationship completely off the radar like he’s managed to do.
Congrats to the happy couple on their great start to 2015 as husband and wife!
